The Kannada film directors Association has earned new confidence on Sunday night not because it has donated a small relief to the family members of brave soldier Lancenaik Hanumanthappa Koppada, but at the presence of three prominent personalities – Koppada mother Basavva, wife Mahadevi and daughter Nethra – it announced ‘Save Girl Child’ concept through Sandalwood Cricket with 120 artists and technicians league match starting in May this year.


The small err on this occasion from KANFIDA is that it did not remember the recently demised Geethapriya in the mourning list. It could have added names of Siddalingaiah, KSL Swami with Geethapriya – KANFIDA coming to media after a long time – this was omitted surprised a few.

In the presence of KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu, Producer Association secretary Soorappa Babu, KCN Chandrasekhar, veteran actor Srinivasamurthy, SV Rajendra Singh Babu KCA Chairman, Editor Basavaraj, Gajanand key sponsor of ‘Sandalwood super star League 2016’, Umesh Banakar, Sushma, Ravishanker, Ravi Chetan and all the members of KANFIDA the activities for the coming days was announced by MS Ramesh, sitting President of KANFIDA.


The song delivered on this occasion by Srinivasamurthy with his powerful voice ‘Kannu Muchchuva Munna Kannu Tereyiranna….was very apt.
